Ines Kaufmann (*1996 in Carinthia, lives and works in Vienna) studies in the class Extended Painterly Space with Daniel Richter at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her practice explores the liminal spaces between figurative compositions and the abstract efficacy and perception of color. In a luminous interplay of individual and collective body language, intermedial techniques manifest in compositions between communal pictorial sphere and raw abstraction. Between dirtyness and purity, tenderness and humor.
